First Season of Futsal a Big Success

The inaugural season of Futsal in Glen Innes finished up last Wednesday and has proved to be a huge success.

With 42 players registered, ages ranging from 6 years to 14years.

The finals were held on Wednesday April 6 for the junior division with the Green team running out winners and the Blue team runners up.

Next season we hope to get more interest from all age divisions and hope to get an adult comp up and running as well.

Futsal in Glen Innes will now break for the start of the Football (Soccer) season and resume at the end of October (term 4) where we hope to run a much longer comp.

The organisers would like to thank all the players and their families and hope they enjoyed this first season and hope to see you all back for the next season.
