Zone II Futsal Meet

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School, Kampong Salambigar hosted a Futsal Championship among secondary schools and colleges of Zone II at the Dato Mahawangsa Lambak Primary School, Brunei II.

The tournament was organised by the Co-Curriculum Education Department, Schools Department, Brunei Dassalam.

The tournament is divided into two categories. Category B involve nine schools under 15 years old, while 11 schools are taking part in Category C (16 to 18). In Category B, SM Berakas, SM Pehin Dato Seri Maharaja Mentiri, SM Rimba and SM Lambak Kiri advanced to the next level while the host SM Sultan Sharif Ali will fight the next stage on Saturday.

In Category C, SM Sayyidina Abu Bakar, SM Lambak Kiri, Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College and SM Pehin Dato Seri Maharaja qualified for the next level.

Nakhoda Ragam Secondary Vocational School, SM Sultan Sharif Ali and SM Pengiran Isteri Hajah Mariam, Serasa have 'bye' to the next round.

Zone 2 Futsal Meet

Bandar Seri Begawan - Out of the 13 schools and colleges at the Zone 2 Interschool Futsal Championship held at SR Datu Mahawangsa in Lambak, so far only SM Lambak Kiri has made it to the semi finals with both their under 15s and 16-18-year-old teams.

In the under 15s category, SM Pg Datu Seri Maharaja Menteri will be facing SM Sultan Sharif Ali, SM Rimba will be facing SM Lambak Kiri in the semifinals.

Six teams in category C (16-18) have yet to battle it out to qualify for the semis.
