Kairat football team visit’s Almaty orphanage

A participant in the UEFA Futsal Cup round four that is to be staged in the city of Almaty at the end of April, Kairat has paid a visit to an orphanage. Kairat players have a tradition of paying visits to these children ahead of important matches as the team has been supporting this orphanage. As part of their visit to the specialised complex Zhanuya, the futsal players held a master class for young players and held a friendly match with them. Also, Kairat players gave the orphanage’s boys sports equipment and presents. Kairat gave Zhanuya’s gifted boys an opportunity to train in their football academy. One of the orphanage residents, Roman Grinkiyev is a promising football player and he is likely to get into Kairat’s team in the future.

- Of course, it is unexpected. They are adults and this is their job. They took me on so unexpectedly. It is great.
