Unreal Madrid were crowned Champion's of Scotland and will enter the UEFA Futsal Cup for the first time.
Perth Youth FutsalTHE Perth Youth Futsal Spring 2011 season ended on a high with a flurry of activity as the last round of league and cup games took place.
In the 14 /15 age league, AC Matalan cruised to the league title despite a spirited late challenge from Lemon Tangies.
AC Matalan completed a league and cup double with a narrow 21 win over Perth United in the final.
In the 16/17 age league, St John's wrapped up the title in style with a comfortable margin over second place Perth Inter, however the latter gained revenge in the cup final as they won the cup in a 54 penalty shootout after the game had finished 11.
The annual PYF Open tournament takes place on June 25 and 26 and entries are invited from any team interested in participating.
The new season will start on August 26.
Details will be announced in due course and applications are welcomed from any new teams / players interested in participating.
The club are looking for additional volunteer coaches/admin help/committee members and sponsors to help the club continue making progress. Anyone interested in helping should get in touch asap.
The clubs Perth Saltires team are in action this coming Monday when they play their last league game of the season. A recent flurry of good results has ensured that the young team have secured their place in the top division.
The PYF agm will take place at Bells Sports Centre on Saturday, June 4, with a 10am start.
All members are welcome to attend.
