Diplomatic futsal tournament kicks off in Yerevan

The embassies of Poland and Ukraine jointly with the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a diplomatic futsal tournament dedicated to the UEFA EURO 2012 to be held in Ukraine and Poland.

The tournament hosts 4 teams. The first team consists of the employees of Ukrainian, Polish, Georgian, Turkmen and German embassies; the second includes representatives of Russia, Brazilian and Italian embassies; the third team comprised officials from the U.S., Lithuanian, Chinese and Bulgarian embassies; the fourth team is formed by Armenian Foreign Ministry employees.

“The tournaments will help informal communication between diplomats and improvement of relations,” said Aram Grigoryan, adviser at the MFA secretariat.
