Izole Cup this month

The first edition of the inter-national Izole Cup, organised by the Phoenix Sports Club, will be held at the refurbished Pieta Hotspurs futsal complex between June 24 and 26.

The event will host around 400 athletes competing in two different sport, handball (men and women) and futsal (men).

All competitions will be played outdoors on synthetic turf and the winner in each category of the Cup will be awarded €1,000 as prize money.

Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of four matches and the games will be spanned over all three days of the tournament.

Competitions will be controlled by qualified referees and all measures will be taken to see that the spirit of Fair Play is maintained and respected.
