BFA’s ‘futebol de salao’ in July

Panjim: The Brasil Futebol Academia will start its “futebol de salao” (futsal programme) on July 4 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Don Bosco Oratory indoor court, Panjim. Nigerian Adakole O Jonathan, English FA level certified coach along with AFC certified coach Naresh Virnodkar will conduct the sessions. The programme has been designed by BFA's head coach Rodrigo Mendes Silva.

Through its futsal program BFA intends to bring Brazilian-style futsal to Goa, working on the development of young Goan players while creating an enjoyable and fun environment. From teaching the fundamentals of futsal to developing and making more experienced kids get better, sensational samba moves, along with dribbling and juggling sequences will be taught.

Registrations for BFA regular coaching programme are also open. The regular coaching camp will start on July 4 at Chowgule ground. BFA camps offer a modern teaching method and the most innovative soccer camps available throughout the year. Players are trained in state-of-the-art facilities at Chowgules including practices on astro turf.
