New name for the Czech League

A new season of the Czech futsal league will kick-off on Friday 16th September with a first round and with a new name: Chance Futsal League, denomination given after the new partnership agreement reached with the betting company Chance.

Among the new teams in the league will be SK Kladno and Delta Real Sumperk, both of which played the league before, there will also be an absolute new entry: Andy Liberec. However, due to financial reasons, CC Jistebník that played the league since 1993 without a single break and even won a title, quit the first division and will only play in the third.

Seven-times champion ERA-PACK Chrudim will be defending its title this year and so far appears to be the biggest favorite to get its eight trophy. Era-Pack will surely miss the brazilian Dentinho (who signed with the top portuguese club SL Benfica) and it is not even sure that the team would be able to count on their player-manager Cacau, who is considering offers from Kuwait and Kairat Almaty.

The silver medal winner of last two season, Balticflora Teplice is experiencing an heavy financial crisis. All foreign players left the team and the club will begin the new season with young players. Even the third team of last season, Benago, will miss their shining star, as Angellot Caro Garces moved to the spanish primera division club Caja Segovia. Benago is, as always, very active on transfer market and so are Bohemians and Tango Brno.

The Czech league has witnessed some very interesting transfers, especially considering young players, who went through U-21 national team. The greatest number of foreign players will play for Benago.
