Masters earn victory over Subaru STI

After inclement weather postponed last week's matches, the 2011 Bud Light Women's Futsal League continued Sunday night at the Guam sports complex gym.

• Dck Masters 2, Subaru STI 0: Tracy Brodie and Christine Simard had the goals for the Masters (3-2), who moved into sole possession of third place with the win. Subaru (2-3) might have done the same with a win, but the reverse means it sits in a five-way tie for fourth place.

• Hyundai 15, Guahan.com 2: League-leading scorer Arisa Recella racked up five more goals to take her season tally to 23 and keep Hyundai (6-0) unbeaten. Gia Righetti and Whisperingwillow Dela Cruz scored one each for Guahan (0-6).

• Quality Distributors 4, Guam Shipyard 2: Kim O'Connor, Vanessa Quinata, Lorelei Nelson and Francesca Pangelinan grabbed a goal apiece as Quality (2-3) pulled level with Shipyard (2-3). Erica Quichocho scored a pair of goals for Shipyard.

• Orange Crushers 5, Lady Strykers 1: Simie Willter and Abbey Iriarte each bagged braces for the Crushers (4-1). Deana Garcia prevented the shutout for the Lady Strykers (2-2).
