After reaching a common agreement Danilo Martins and the spanish division de Honor team CMVC Cartagena decided to interrupt their contract.
CMVC Cartagena took this decision in the desperate need of saving the season and remaining in division de Honor. The spanish club is now playing the play-out series against the division de plata club Gestesa Guadalajara. The first match was won by Gestesa.

Cartagena has already a new coach: Carlos Sanchez, previously coach of Caja Segovia and Cartagena's player.

Danilo Martins could travel to Italy in the next season.
