BEIRUT: In the third day of the Lebanese Futsal season, AUST played against Internal Security Forces team at the Emile Lahoud Stadium with the ISF making a huge comeback to win 6-5.

In the opening minutes of the game, both teams were conservative with their possession, trying to control tempo rather than open the scoring.

Five minutes into the game, AUST began to press their opponents, playing a much tougher game which resulted in the first goal of the match in their favor.

The leaders continued their domination of the game and scored a second goal in the 14th minute, taking advantage of an error committed by their opponents to double their lead. Their lead didn’t last long as the ISF came back to tie the game with two goals thanks to a couple of intricate plays.

With two minutes to go in the first half, AUST scored for the third time after a swift counter attack ending the first half with a 3-2 lead in their favor.

In the second half, the ISF put on the pressure and got several chances on goal but couldn’t convert any. AUST got their fourth goal to strengthen their lead once again. Three minutes later, the leading side had a player sent off, as they played for two minutes with four players. With the score 4-2, the game took another twist as AUST committed a fifth foul, giving ISF’s team a penalty shot for each foul, which was the turning point of the match, as the ISF scored four quick goals to earn their win.
