Today is the day. The Colombian national team, under the guide of Osmar Arney Fonnegra, will start their preparation for the next Copa America 2011, to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Fourteen players have been selected with this purpose, in the aim to make their best in a tough group with Brazil and Bolivia (the game vs the bolivian counterpart will be basic in the hope to qualify as best runner up, given the fact that Brazil should belong to another standard of futsal). The roster includes also the new star of national futsal (replacing John Jairo Pinilla, now playing in the AMF competitions) Angellot Caro Garces, recent signing of Caja Segovia, spanish club from the Primera Division. For the first ever time, with the exception of two "foreign players", all the selected athletes will come from the newly born professional league of FIFA Futsal in Colombia: the Liga Argos Futsal.
