The Borneo PostSMK Meradong emerge futsal championSeptember 10, 2011, SaturdaySARIKEI: SMK Meradong emerged champions in the Sarikei Division School Sports Council Under-14 futsal championship recently.
The champion team accumulated the highest points after playing against five other schools on a round robin format.
First runner-up were SMK St Anthony and SMK Bandar Sarikei in third place.
Other participating schools were SMK Kai Chung, SMK Sungai Paoh and SMK Bandar Bintangor.
The competition was a platform for selecting players to represent Sarikei at the state-level (MSSN) competition to in Kuching from Sept 28 to 30.
