Kazakhstan Futsal Super Cup begins in Almaty

The Third Kazakhstan Futsal Super Cup has begun in the southeast Kazakh city of Almaty. According to the regulations of the competitions, Kairat and Tulpar will play two matches. The football club of Karaganda confidently won the first-leg match. The score remained unopened in the first half and it seemed that the match would take place inexpressively with no emotions to be expressed. After the break, the visiting side intensified their efforts, which forced Kairat players to make mistakes. The first goal was scored by the Tulpar captain Chingiz Yessenamanov. The home team netted an equaliser soon after that as the team proved its class with four Brazilians playing in it. The score was levelled Fumas. With four minutes before the end of the match, the Karaganda players scored two more goals with one of them scored by goalkeeper Jeronimo. As a result, Tulpar gained a 3-1 win.

Amirzhan Mukanov, Head Coach, FC Tulpar
«This was our first game in the season. We probably wanted to win more and Kairat got enough practice in the pre season games in Yekaterinburg. Therefore, we wanted it more. The team won the match. I am very happy for them, because we have only one Brazilian player on the team, while Kairat has better resources.»

The second-leg game will be held on September 25 in Karaganda. The national championship is scheduled to start on October 20 and will involve 9 teams.
