CONCACAF teams have begun their preparations for next year’s Futsal Championship which will also qualify four nations to the FIFA Futsal World Cup Thailand 2012 … Here is a look at what they are doing …

CONCACAF TEAMS TO KNOW 2011 GRAND PRIX DE FUTSAL OPPONENTS THIS WEEK: Costa Rica, Guatemala and USA will know its respective opponents as well as complete groups and schedule as the draw for the 2011 Grand Prix de Futsal takes place on Thursday (6 October) at the Palacio Rio Negro in Manaus, Brazil … For the first time three CONCACAF teams will take part in the annual 16-nation invitational tournament which will run from 16-23 October.

GUATEMALA NAMES ROSTER FOR 2011 GRAND PRIX: Twenty-one players have been named for Guatemala’s roster to the 2011 Grand Prix de Futsal by technical director Carlos Eduardo Estrada on 30 September … Of the selected eight were on the Chapines side that captured their first CONCACAF Futsal Championship in 2008.
