Inter-varsity futsal

KARACHI - As many as eleven universities of the city are taking part in the Aga Khan University (AKU) Inter-university Futsal Tournament which began here at the organisers ground the other day.
The tournament is being played under floodlights on league format. Vice captain of Pakistan football team Faisal Iqbal inaugurated the tournament. Riaz contractor manager AKU sports centre and Hanif M Shariff manager administrative services were present on the occasion.
In matches played, Aku-Green beat Pakistan Navy Engineering College 4-2. Dow University of Health Sciences beat MA Jinnah University 4-1. IoBM beat Institute of Business Administration 2-0. Ziauddin Medical University beat AKU White 1-0. Nust University beat IBA 3-0.
