Clubs line up for Futsal draw
The draw for the 2003/04 UEFA Futsal Cup will take place on 4 June in Nyon, Switzerland.

Two from Spain
Defending champions Playas de Castellón F.S will join the top teams from 32 countries in the third edition of the competition for the leading club sides in Europe. Castellón's success in the 2002/03 edition means there will be two Spanish sides involved this time around.

English debut
Due to the increased popularity of Futsal, there will be a preliminary phase prior to the first qualifying round. Teams from Bulgaria, England and Romania will be placed in a pot, with the first two pulled out to face each other in a two-legged tie for a place in the first qualifying round. The remaining side will automatically go through. Of the three nations, only England has confirmed its entrants with Tranmere Victoria FC set to be the first team from that country to take part in an official UEFA Futsal event.

Eight hosts
After the preliminary phase, 32 teams will be left in the first qualifying round, and they will then be divided up by a draw into eight groups of four. One team in each group will act as host for a mini-tournament. The winners of the eight groups will then go forward to contest the second qualifying round. Following that, two teams will be produced to contest the final, which will be played in the first part of next year.

Not yet known
While most countries have confirmed their entrants, it is not yet known who will qualify from Spain, Italy, Portugal Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Netherlands, Greece, Albania and Bulgaria. The Futsal Cup draw will also coincide with a meeting of the UEFA Futsal Committee.
