Villagers waiting to use completed futsal court

MIRI: A futsal court in Kampung Luak completed early this year has yet to open to the villagers as the key had yet to be handed over.

Miri PAS chief cum PAS Sarawak Deputy Commissioner III Jofri Jaraee said the villagers had been waiting to use the futsal court.

“It is hoped the party concerned can respond quickly by opening the futsal court,” Jofri said.

PAS supports the government’s intention to build more sporting facilities for the people. Jofri, who is also Miri PAS chief, suggested that the authority concerned appoint a responsible party to maintain the place to avoid vandalism.
