The second match of the day saw Kairat of Almaty, the main favourite of the current season, share points with Tulpar of Karaganda. In the first match, the Almaty club took a 3:0 landslide victory. This time, the visiting team was not going to give up that easy. In the first half, both teams arranged plenty of dangerous episodes, but none of them resulted in goals. It finally happened in the middle of the second half, when Tulpar’s Brazilian footballer Alex opened the scored by sending the ball past Kairat’s goalkeeper Vitaliy Halyavin. The host teams rushed to put their every effort to level the score. Two minutes before the end of the match, Leo Santana’s close range strike equalized the score and made the match end in a draw. Chingiz Yessenamanov, Captain, Tulpar Futsal Club: - In the second game, Kairat had a great choice in the substitutions and they can swap players. Our team has a fixed line-up and the team failed to do more at the end of the match.Lev Kim, Head, Department of Futsal and Beach Football, Kazakhstan Football Federation: - The intrigue was there until the last second and it was unclear who would win it. I think Kairat had more chances to score, but they failed to score while Tulpar scored once. The last chance was in the dying seconds but both teams failed to score their long-range shots.Posted by Luca Ranocchiari --> luca.ranocchiari@futsalplanet.com
