Solomon Star NewsMens open futsal challenge quarterMonday, 12 December 2011The quarter finals of the Men’s Open Futsal Challenge organized by the Central Kings FC will take place today at the Multi-Purpose Hall starting at 1:00 pm.
A total of eight teams were qualified for the quarter finals from the two pools played.
The top four teams in pool A are Northern United White, Kossa FC, Central Kings Yellow, and Rove West Coast.
In pool B the four top teams are Koloale FC, G.Camp United, Luapel Yellow, and Sokamora FC.
After battling of pool games throughout last week at the Multi-Purpose Hall, pool A is dominated by Northern United White which led by Kurukuru players like Jack Whetney, James Egeta, Lenson Bisili, Micah Lealafa, and Coleman Makau.
Runner up in pool A is Kossa FC which led by their captain Sammy Osifelo with young up-coming players like Sammy and Albert Whetney.
Third placing in the pool is Central Kings Yellow and fourth spot is taken by Rove West Coast which led by their captain Moffat Sikwa’ae with the support of Solomon Warrior’s striker Dennis Ifunaoa.
Pool B is dominated by Koloale FC led by their captain Jeffrey Bule with the likes of David lafai, Dikson Ramo, Toni Otini, and Fred Bala in their side.
Second in pool B is G.Camp United which led by George Steveson with the support of Michael Tomani, willie Taloga, and Junior Fa’arodo.
Third in pool B is LUAPEL Yellow which led by Kurukuru captain Elliot Ragomo, with the support of Stanley Puia, Robert Laua, McPhilip Aisa and Junior Lioka.
The fourth and final placing in pool B is taken by Sokamora FC which led by their captain Mathias Saru with the support of Ian Ngahu, Sammy Bino and George Lifu.
Today we will witness the quarter final stages of the Open Men’s Futsal Challenge at the Multi-Purpose Hall.
There will be plenty of futsal skills on show in the next few days at the Multi-Purpose Hall with the likes of Elliot Ragomo battling against Jack Whetney for the price money.
