Referees for matches of Azerbaijan's futsal team defined for Euro-2012

The names of referees to serve matches of the Azerbaijani national futsal squad at the final stage of the European championship have come out.

The match Portugal-Azerbaijan which starts at midnight from 1 to 2 February will be served by Russian Ivan Shabanov and Polish Sebastian Stavitski.

They will also serve the match Azerbaijan-Serbia to be held on 3 February and start at 23.30.

Both matches are to be held in Zagreb. Portugal and Serbia will also meet there on 5 February. Two of the three teams will get the right to compete in the quarterfinal by results of the group tournament.

Azerbaijani futsal team holds last training before match with Portugal

The last training of the national futsal team of Azerbaijan was held at Luchko sport complex of Zagreb before the starting match in the European championship against Portugal.
The national team of Azerbaijan, which arrived in Croatian capital on 29 January, was training either on the Zagreb Arena hosting the matches of the tournament or in Luchko.

The last training was almost completely devoted to working on play components and also included a bilateral match. Today the head coach Jose Alecio da Silva is to hold a theoretical seminar.

The match at the Zagreb Arena is to start at midnight Baku time. It will be refereed by Russia's Ivan Shabanov and Polish Sebastian Stavitsky. The national team of Serbia is also within our group.

Meanwhile, in Group C, the national teams of Italy and Turkey will play at the Spaladium Arena in Split. Russia is also in the same group.

The Spanish team beat Slovenia 4:2 within the framework of Group B and in group A Croatia beat Romania-2:1.
