A picture of perfection as Portrait FC win again

PHUKET: Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Centre (TSLC) hosted the second round of the Adult Futsal League season last Thursday (January 26), sponsored by Thanachart Bank.

First up on the Premier Division pitch saw Jitjongrut open their season campaign against Portrait FC.

Portrait took a command lead into the break, going up 5-1 at the break thanks to some fast flowing, attacking football. Jitjongrut came back strong to outscore Portrait in the second half, but couldn’t get close enough as portrait ran out 6-3 winners.

Up next saw Honda and Thanachart Bank play a tightly contested match.

Final score: Thanachart Bank 3, Honda 2.On the First Division pitch, SGS got their season off to a tough start, going down 2-0 to an undefeated Ultraman. With both goals coming late in the first half, SGS pressed to get back into the game, but came up against well organised Ultraman defence.

In the other First Division match, the Island boys were matched up with TSLC.

TSLC got off to a flying start, scoring in the second minute from a deflected shot, but Island regrouped and played some good football though were unable to get the ball in the net.

TSLC then capitalised on some lapse defending and scored twice in the final two minutes of the first half.

When they scored again from their first attack of the second half, the game was then over as a contest and TSLC went on to secure a massive 6-0 win.
