Futsal coaching course from March 15-17

Kota Kinabalu: A futsal coaching course orgainsed by the Sabah FA Futsal and Beach Football Committee will be held at the futsal courts in Yayasan Sabah Tun Adnan Sports Complex from March 15-17.

The course is opened to all those who have attended the basic course and the holder of the 'C' licence. They must also be good in demonstrating and playing the game.

Hj Yamani Hafiz Musa , who is chairman for the committee said the event had been held twice before in 2010 and 2011 and the aim is to improve the knowledge of the coaches.

"The course this time will focus more on tactical aspect and the preparation of a team for competition.

All the participants will be given practical training session on defensive and attacking play".

He added that the lack of knowledge in futsal coaching had hinder the development of the sports in the state despite the sports getting more popular and more tournaments were being held by various parties.

He therefore urged those who are keen and qualified to attend the three-day course as the start to improve their futsal coaching knowledge.

The fee is RM100 (excluding accommodation) and the closing date is on March 10.
