MIDDLESBROUGH WELCOME TRANMERE VICTORIA IN MUST WIN GAME

MIDDLESBROUGH Futsal Club play host to Tranmere Victoria on Sunday and must win to keep their hopes of reaching the playoffs on track.

Despite only dropping 4 points so far this season, the top three are so close and any more points dropped could be disastrous. Manchester and Sheffield also play each other on Sunday, meaning a huge weekend in the battle for top two.

Boro’s latest signing, Australian international Corey Smith, is set to feature for the Teessiders and is relishing the chance to pull on the Boro shirt.

“I can't wait to get on the pitch against Tranmere! I enjoyed the games on Sunday [in the Catterick Handicap Cup] and it was great to play alongside the guys in a fun environment, but it will not compare to making my first appearance in the National League,” said Smith.

Tickets are available on the day from Thornaby Pavilion and cost £3 for adults and £1 for under 16s. There will also be limited edition Boro kits on sale as well raffle tickets for a signed Middlesbrough Football and Futsal shirt combo!
