Tranmere Victoria Vs Sheffield FC FutsalThe FA National Futsal League is very much reaching the business end and Sheffield FC must now know that every game requires their utmost attention.
Only seven days on from the last meeting between the sides Sheffield travel to Tranmere to attempt to complete a double over the Merseyside unit, following their 3-0 home victory.
Last year’s FA National League North Champions know that despite their games in hand they can’t afford to slip up between now and the end of the season, with Middlesbrough a whole 13 points clear following their recent 18-3 drubbing of Crewsadors.
Tranmere on the other hand will want to avenge their recent defeat at the hands of Sheffield and take the opportunity to go level on points with Sheffield in their attempt to claim third place in the league.
The formbook suggests however that this may be an uphill task for Tranmere, coming into the game on the back of three straight defeats whereas Sheffield’s only recent blip came in a tough away encounter at Manchester.
This game is the only fixture of the weekend and therefore offers Sheffield the perfect opportunity to start closing the gap on Manchester and Middlesbrough who are in danger of running away at the top of the league if the South Yorkshire unit do slip up.
