Peter WongSince the middle of last year, Punggol residents have been keeping something to themselves.
But the secret is out, and its name is @Punggol, a waterfront dining and recreation complex in Tebing Lane in their neck of the woods.
People from Bedok and even Clementi and Ang Mo Kio who have got wind of it have been making their way there for a spot of indoor fishing and prawning, a game of futsal or pool, and when all that is done, to tuck in at the clutch of food and beverage outlets there.
Restaurants there range from fast-food chain Popeyes to seafood, and there is also a Japanese restaurant and a bistro on the banks of the Serangoon River.
