Smederevo Futsal Fest 2012

In the City of Smederevo between 30.05. - 06.06. 2012 an international futsal tournament will be held, called "Smederevo Futsal Fest 2012".

The tournament is traditionally one of the most visited and best organised in Serbia. On this occasion, we would like to invite you to participate in this event. The tournament will take place with help the of the City of Smederevo, soccer organisations, renowned futsal players and a large number of sponsors.

The tournament is played with the 24 teams participating which the organisers invite.

Media will cover the tournament and all matches will be filmed and broadcasted. The tournament lasts for 8 days, and teams from abroad willhave special consideration with regard to the schedule of matches. Up to the final match there will be a maximum number of six matches played, which covers the six-day stay in our city.

This year's prize fund amounts to 6000 EUR plus numerous individual awards, as well as gifts from sponsors and friends of the tournament.

At the tournament, organisers will print a magazine of the tournament which will include the tourist offerings in the town of Smederevo and the Danube region. Each team will be covered separately with their participants, photographs of players and team representatives; also there will be sponsors and friends of the tournament as well as a plan and program of the festival.

For the first time this year at the festival there will be an organised futsal seminar. Lecturers at the seminar will be the most famous futsal coaches from around Europe .

Conditions for the game from the court, lighting, dressing rooms, medical teams and security are at a high level. The tournament is played in the new hall that was built for the Universiade 2009.

The organiser of the tournament in cooperation with the tourism organisation will provide accommodation and meals during the tournament at promotional prices.

In addition to the team from Serbia, participation in the tournament have been confirmed by teams from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, R. Ireland, Montenegro, Italy, Poland ...

Payment per team: 250.00 euros (fee),
