The WAFF.comIran reach semi final after big win against IraqManama – Iran started their campaign to defend their title with a big win against Iraq 13-0 on Thursday, in Group A at WAFF second Women Futsal championship 2012 in Bahrain.
Elnaz Armat (1), Nilofar Ardallani (6,11), Leila Eghbali (8,27), Fatemeh Etedadi (11,14), Sepideh Zarrinrad (18, 37), Fahimeh Zarei (24), Nasimeh Gholami (28, 32, 34) scored the winning goals for Iran.
Iran guaranteed to qualify for the semi final with Bahrain who defeated Iraq 8-2 on Tuesday, as the match between Iran and Bahrain will decide the leaders of the group.
Their will be 2 matches in Group B on Friday, as Jordan play Lebanon, and Palestine meets Qatar.

The WAFF.comSecond win for JordanManama – Jordan got their second victory against Lebanon 4-2 on Friday in Group B of WAFF second Women Futsal championship 2012 in Bahrain.
Shahnaz Jebreen (4, 19,31) and Stephanie Al Naber (36) scored for Jordan, While Reem Chalhoub (7) and Darine Fakhreddine (34) scored for Lebanon.
In the other match at the same group, Palestine got their first victory against Qatar 9-0.
Kiloudi Salama (13, 23, 33), Caroline Sohgian (14, 18, 38), Ayah Alkhatib (22), Talin Abughazala (31), Marian Albandak (37) scored the winning goals for Palestine.
Jordan stayed in first place at the group with 6 points from two matches, while Lebanon and Palestine have 3 points and Qatar still pointless.
Bahrain will face Iran on Saturday, in the battle for top spot in Group A.
The third round of the group will be played on Sunday, as Jordan meet Palestine, while Lebanon plays Qatar.
