The WAFF.comIran takes top spot in Group AManama – Iran clinched top spot on Group A after winning against Bahrain 6-0 on Saturday, at WAFF second Women Futsal championship 2012 in Bahrain.
Fereshteh Karim (18), Fatemeh Etedadi (21), Fahimeh Zarei (26, 32, 34), and Nilofar Ardallani (37) scored the winning goals for Iran.
Iran finished the group stage matches with 6 points from two matches, while Bahrain took second place with 3 points, and Iraq was pointless. Iran and Bahrain will play now in the semi finals.
Their will be 2 matches in Group B on Sunday, as Jordan play Palestine, while Lebanon meets Qatar.

The WAFF.comJordan and Lebanon qualify for semi-finalManama – Jordan qualified with Lebanon to semi-final after the final match day of Group B on Sunday, at WAFF second Women Futsal championship 2012 in Bahrain.
Jordan lost their third match against Palestine 2-3, while Lebanon defeated Qatar 19-0.
In the first match, Caroline Sohgian (14) and Nevin Alkolayb (37, 39) scored for Palestine, while Stephanie Al Naber (14) and Abeer Al Nahar (32) scored for Jordan.
And in the second match, Nancy Tchaylian (1, 18, 20, 22, 33, 34), Taghrid Hamadeh (4, 19, 22, 37), Sara Haidar (4, 7, 9, 20, 22, 25), Hiba El Jaafil (10), Sara Bakri (14) and Reem Chalhoub (39) scored the winning goals for Lebanon.
Jordan took the top spot in the group with 6 points from three matches, leading by goals difference from Lebanon and Palestine, while Qatar finished pointless.
Jordan will face Bahrain in the semi semi-final on Tuesday, while Lebanon meets Iran.
