Announcement of tournament

I. Objectives of the tournament:
• To enhance international relationships in women futsal
• To popularize women futsal
• To decide which team is the best of THELENA CUP
• To prepare for National Championship 2012/2013

IV. Participants:
Applied or invited clubs playing in Foreign or Hungarian futsal national championships (8 teams).

V. Rules:

Qualifying rounds:

There will be two groups (A,B).
In both group teams will play with each other to decide about the order

3 point can be get for a win and 1 point for a drawn game.
The order in the qualifying round is based on the following:
- gained points
- result of the match played against each other
- difference of shot and got goals
- more shot goal

Play-Off:

After qualifying round placed 3rd and 4th team of group „A” cross-play with placed 3rd and 4th team of group „B” in „Lower House” and placed 1st and 2nd team of group „A” cross-play with placed 1st and 2nd team of group „B” in „Upper House”.

Finals:

The conquered teams of „Lower House” play for 7th and 8th places, the winners play for 5th and 6th places
The conquered teams of „Upper House” play for 3rd and 4th places, the winners play for 1st and 2nd places

If a match in play off or final is drawn, elongation will follow. If it is drawn too, 3-3 penalty kicks will decide who is the winner.

FIFA futsal rules are valid in the tournament.
12 players can be entered for a match.
Play-time: 2x 20’
Player sent off or gained 3 yellow cards is not allowed to enter next match.
In case of elongation penalty points got in normal play-time stay valid.
Protest is not allowed, in case of debate tournament committee decide

VI. Awards:
1st, 2nd, 3rd placed teams get cup and certificate.
The best player, the best goalkeeper, the most goals scored player and the best foreign player get gift.

VII. Fees and costs:
There is no fee. Dormitory is provided for foreign teams for free (2 nights with 2 dinners, 2 breakfests for maximum 15 persons).
