BOOST FOR BRUNEI AHEAD OF AFF FUTSAL 2012

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (17 April 2012) – The Brunei national Futsal team received a boost ahead of their challenge in the AFF Futsal Championship 2012 when three private companies step forward to sponsor the squad.

Sahid Sdn Bhd, Sullivas Sdn Bhd and Arin’s Enterprise confirmed that the will be supplying the team kit at a sponsorship presentation ceremony at National Football Association Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) House in Berakas yesterday.

“I would like to thank the sponsors for their support in sponsoring the national futsal squad that will be competing in the AFF Futsal Championship in Bangkok. I hope that our national futsal team will be able to give a good fight at the tournament,” said Mohd Taha Mohd Tahir, the Manager of the DST National League.

Brunei Darussalam are in Group B of the championship alongside seven-times champion Thailand, Indonesia, Laos and Timor Leste. Group A are Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines and Myanmar.
