AFF Futsal: PH bows to Vietnam

MANILA, Philippines – After a close fight against Myanmar, the Philippine futsal team bowed to Vietnam in the ongoing AFF Futsal Championship 2012.

Vietnam won 6-1, according to Asean Football.

Vietnam’s Luu Quynh Toan scored the first goal just 5 minutes into the game before Azkal player Misagh Bahadoran equalized the score 11 minutes later.

Bui Van Thang put Vietnam back on top, 2-1, a minute left in the first half.

In the second half, the Philippine defense faltered and Vietnam knocked in 4 more goals.

Philippines earlier won a tight game against Myanmar, 5-4.
