Regional futsal mights clash in Bangkok semis

Reigning AFF Futsal champions Indonesia take on Vietnam at 2pm today, while Thailand are up against Malaysia at 5pm in the semifinals of this year’s edition playing at the Krungthep Thonburi Indoor Stadium in Bangkok.

Thailand are overwhelming favourites to pick up their eighth title having ripped through the group stage, winning all four of their games and scoring 73 goals whilst conceding just four.

The hosts also boast the top three goal scorers of the tournament so far. Cambodia collected their only victory of the campaign in a 9-5 thriller over the Philippines on Monday, but had already failed to make the cut.
