Media professionals compete in annual futsal tournament in Almaty

The city of Almaty has hosted the annual futsal tournament involving media professionals.

This tournament was dedicated to the memory of the famous publicist, public figure and a sports journalist Seidakhmet Berdikulov. The event was organized by the Kazakhstan Agency for Sports and Physical Education. The competition was attended by 13 teams of the central and regional mass media outlets of Kazakhstan. As a result of the tournament, the team of Kazak gazetteri won first place, following their 4:1 victory in the final match over Team Genghis Khan. The Khabar agency team came in third place, as they overpowered the Almaty television channel team on penalty shootout.

Kazbek Imangali, ORGANISING COMMITTEE MEMBER:
- Seidakhmet Berdikulov passed away in 1994. Since 1995, we have annually held this futsal tournament. Every year, this tournament gets better and increasingly popular.
