Members of ruling and opposition parties barter blows during futsal competition

30/05-2012 Bishkek

Members of Respublica ruling party and Ata Meken opposition party bartered blows during futsal control game. Respublica confirms this information.

According it, a spring tournament on futsal started at 9 a.m., yesterday, May 29 where 8 party teams participated. Near 4 p.m., an incident occurred between futsal teams of Respublica and Ata Meken.

Members of Respublica consider the conflict was instigated by the inaccurate refereeing of the arbitrator Temir Emillov who gave a red card to one of members of the team.

“When score was 16:4 in favor of Respublica’s team the arbitrator issued the red card and Shekerbek Temirov disagreed with him. In his turn, the arbitrator was the first who laid hands on 18-year old player after that all players of Ata Meken team came and put up a fight,” explain the Executive.

It is reported that Shekerbek Temirov was put in a hospital. According to preliminary information, he has eyeball contusion and brain injury.
