Humphrey Njoku06 June 2012Futsal Eagles' Chidindu Madu is confident of positive result against their Egyptian opposites in Friday's Fifa Futsal World Cup qualifier in Cairo.
Madu is among the 12-man squad named by coach Oladunni Oyekale for the first leg final fixture of Africa qualifying series.
The Bayelsa United man told SuperSport.com that they will give the Egyptians the toughest game of their lives.
"We're prepared for the battle in Cairo and we would come out victorious.
"The Egyptians are ambitious, tough and high scoring side but we won't allow their intimidating profile to scare us.
"We're going for outright victory so that we'll come back to finish it up on June 24 in Lagos.
"We want to qualify for the World Cup and the Egyptians won't stop us."
Madu who admit to possible hostility from the fans said they have already prepared their minds for the worst.
"African football is full of antics and the game against Egypt won't be an exception, we're ready for any tricks they may come up with, our focus is victory and we won't be deterred from achieving the goal," he said.
The winner of the two-leg fixture will pick one of the three slots reserved for Africa at the world tournament.
This year's event holds in Thailand in November.
