Gia Lai defend futsal title

Gia Lai have defended their title at the 13th futsal tournament for disadvantaged children, the Viet Capital Bank Cup in HCM City.

They defeated the host team, HCM City 1, 2-0 in the final round on Wednesday.

The winning team received VND30 million cash and sponsorship for a tour to Malaysia. It was also presented with VND50 million by Doan Nguyen Duc, chairman of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group.

The first and second runners-up were awarded VND25 million and VND20 million, respectively. — VNS
