Iran team A knowck out Iran Team B Futsal Championship

Iran Team A has defeated Iran Team B 9-6 at the finals of the 1st Asian University Futsal Championship in Tehran.

Out of thirty-four teams 9 were chosen to enter this event. In group A its Iran team A, Kazakhstan, China, Macau and Oman. Group B consists of Iran team B, Thailand, Hong Kong and Syria.

Iran team A came out blazing and got an early 5-nil lead with the leadership of captain Farhad Tavakoli.

However in the 2nd half after Team B was down to four players because of a red card foul, the team focused got their momentum back and scored four in a row to make it 6-4.

Finally in the end Iran Team A kept their composure to win by three points.

The golden shoe award went to Moslem Rostamiha from Iran Team A, who scored 22 goals for the tournament.
