Four players, one aim: winning in Portugal and in Europe. A new dream team called Benfica seems to be born.
Two national team players of Brazil and two of Portugal!
Great futsal players like Ciço, Betão, Ricardinho and Miguel Almeida will wear the red shirt of Benfica in the next season. After the disappointment for the deleted arrival of Vander Carioca, Benfica's staff didn't waste time and found two other brazilian "cracks" like Ciço and Betão. Both are now playing the Liga Futsal respectively with Ulbra and Carlos Barbosa
Jefferson Rodrigues de Brito "Ciço" is a defender (fixo) coming from Ulbra. He was often selected for the national team since 1999, even if he's only 22.
Adalberto Nunes da Silva "Betão" is a pivot, from Carlos Barbosa. Another player of brazilian national team, his last appearance with Brazil was in the friendly match against Japan.
Without moving from Portugal, Benfica signed two other young and interesting players.
Ricardinho even if is only 17, is already considered one of the best futsal players in Portugal, and recently was called for the first time in the national team (in the 4 Nations played in Algarve). His previous team was Miramar. He's a flank.
Miguel Almeida, from Coimbroes. As Ricardinho, was selected for the tournament in Algarve. Was one of the revelation during this season in Portugal.
