The first official championship might take place from autumn 2002 to spring 2003. There are, however, no definite dates so far.

In the first year, we hope to achieve the formation of a semi-professional Nationalliga A (Swiss equivalent to Seria A).

We are hoping to play with 12 to 16 teams in the "Serie A".

We will use both play-off and play-out systems. Also, there will be a Cup competition.

In the first year, a limitation of foreigners is not a priority on the list of necessary regulations for the Swiss Football Federation.

We will establish contact with the licensed football clubs in Switzerland, including the participants of Nationalliga A and B.

On February 3rd, we will be able to speak to representatives of different west-Switzerland Clubs - as well as FC Basel and Grasshoppers - regarding our plans for the Swiss Futsal League, to be held from November to March of each year.
