In the first two matches of the CONMEBOL MERCONORTE Futsal Cup 2003 in Carlos Barbosa there were no problems for the brazilian teams Carlos Barbosa and Minas Tenis.
Minas Tenis arrived at this competition with two new players: Leonardo Mesquita Taveira "Leo", formerly player in european club like Lazio and Salamanca, and Bruno Gomes Rodrigues "Barraginha".
