National Schools Championships

And the winner is ........ NSW !!!! NSW has emerged from the National Schools Championships with the title of Overall State Champion after a very successful tournament in Brisbane.

This year's tournament attracted a record ninety nine entries in 14 categories. A total of twenty eight NSW teams entered the tournament and competed against teams from ACT, VIC, QLD and North QLD. All NSW teams performed well and Futsal NSW congratulates not only the winning teams, but ALL teams for their efforts and behaviour during the tournament.

NSW teams contested finals in 11 of the 13 categories it entered and was succesful in 7 of those matches. It was an all NSW affair in three of the finals with the NSW Blues succesful in the 14 Girls and 16 Boys while the Waratah's took the honours in the 15 Boys category.
