Ali Latifi to leave for UK soon

Esteghlal futsal head coach Ali Latifi is said to be leaving for the UK soon to take over as the National English Futsal coach.

Iran beat England in the World Malaysian Futsal Competitions 14 to 3 in April.

Vahid Shamsai and Hossein Heydarian played a key role in the result.

Shamsai is in Italy now playing for the Lazio Futsal Team and Heydarian is due to leave for Italy to play for a yet unnamed Italian club.

Iran is one of the powerhouses of Futsal in Asia and the world. With Latifi, Shamsai and Heydarian going abroad Iranian Futsal player will gain even more recognition.

Players such as Dadashi, Abdulanejadian and Nasseri may also be given offers from abroad.

With the holy month of Ramadan starting from next week, there will be a series of Futsal matches taking place almost every night in Iran during this month, something which has now become a traditional event.
