ISFF University World Cup

For the first time, Futsal has been one of the official disciplines at the ISFF World Cup in Antwerp, Belgium. The team from the University of Seville, Spain, are the new champions, while the “Zebras” of the University of Münster, Germany, made an amazing second place. For more info, check out www.isff.net



FUTSAL NEWS AUSTRIA:

The Austrian National Team plays its first international matches

The Austrian Futsal Association, in cooperation with the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB), have put together a national team to play two friendly games against the national team of Slovakia. While the Austrians were flattened with 12 goals to nil in the first match, they left a slightly better impression on the second occasion, losing only by 3 goals to Slovakia’s 9.

FUTSAL NEWS GERMANY:

After the journey in October to FIFA and UEFA we can say today, that both federations profess themselves to the work of Futsal.de and assured to us for the future full support with all activities for Futsal in Germany.

- the more over we met our friends of Swissfutsal, Swiss Football Association and representatives of the Spanish Futsal League (the strongest league in the world). These experiences will continue to help to us with our work particularly within the range of the association work.

- with the student world championship of the ISFF (international student Futsal Federation) we gained impressing experiences in Antwerp for the organization of an international tournament series. Qualificants from south -, central and Western Europe placed the teams around the title of the "World inter University champion" fought.

- in Velten we met in the apron of the first Futsal championship in Brandenburg with the representatives of the football federation Brandenburg. The same ideas and goals over the spreading for Futsal in Germany will let us cooperate in the future closely with Brandenburg football federation! The team Doppelpass occupied the 5. Place.

- at the end of November will take place a Workshop about FUTSAL in Wuerttemberg. The regional organizations are represented from Wuerttemberg, Bathing , south Bathing and Bavaria to be among other things. Prospective customers are gladly invited to this Workshop.

FUTSAL NEWS SWITZERLAND & LIECHTENSTEIN:

SWISS FUTSAL LEAGUE NEWS: FC BASEL & GRASSHOPPER-CLUB ZURICH JOIN CHAMPIONSHIP

We are thrilled to announce that both the Grasshoppers Club Zurich the Football Club Basle – arguably the two most important clubs in Switzerland – have signed up for the first edition of the national Futsal championship. On top of that, both the Swiss Beach Soccer national team and the national team of the hearing impaired will join the qualifying rounds. We are convinced all of this will make for a very interesting championship!
