USA to take on Canada, Guatemala and Mexico in Futsal Goal Cup in Anaheim, California

The Futsal Goal Cup will be held in Anaheim on December 5 - 7, 2003. The USA Futsal National Team will take on Canada, Guatemala and Mexico during the three day international tournament. This marks the beginning of the U.S. Futsal National team's preparation for the World Cup, which will be held in Taiwan in late November and early December of 2004. In order to participate in the FIFA Futsal World Championship, the U.S. will have to qualify for two positions awarded to CONCACAF. Due to the phenomenal growth of Futsal throughout the world, the competition will be tougher than ever before.

Coach Tozer plans to take the nucleus of the team in addition to some new players to this competition. The game schedule for the three day competition is as follows:
