Great news por Portuguese futsal! FIFA selected João Rocha to be its delegated in Asia. It's really a prestigious work for our friend and collaborator from Portugal!
João Rocha, ex national coordinator of Portuguese futsal and current member of Referees Council of AF Porto will be the main FIFA person in whole Asia. He will be in Kuala Lumpur since 30/11/2003 and will be back in Portugal at the end of December 2004, at the end of World Futsal Championship in Chinese Taipei 2004, working for FIFA and Asian Football Confederation in Futsal area.
João Rocha will have two main functions in Asia:

- FIFA consultant in the Asian Football Association. In this area he will be responsible for the improvement of programmes' development for futsal in Asian continent in the great project Vision Asia. The aim of the project is to improve futsal in all 45 nations of Asia!

- FIFA responsible in the coordination for Chinese Taipei 2004 organization.
