Intercontinental Futsal Cup 2004

The Intercontinental Cup 2004 will be organized again after the six previous unofficial editions (one in Porto Alegre and five in Moscow). The first FIFA edition could include the spanish Playas de Castellon (winner 2nd UEFA Futsal Cup), the belgium Action 21 Charleroi (2nd position in 2nd UEFA Futsal Cup), the brazilian Carlos Barbosa (winner 4th Conmebol Futsal Cup) and teams from Japan, Egypt and USA or Costa Rica. The Intercontinental Cup could be held in Barcelona, during the Feria del Futbol (17-22 February 2004).
