CONCACAF Preliminary Futsal draw to take place Wednesday

16.02.2004: CONCACAF will hold a draw on Wednesday, 18 February at 11:00 to determine the preliminary Futsal qualifying match-ups between the North Zone and UNCAF (Unin Centroamericana de F tbol). The draw will take place at the offices of the CONCACAF General Secretariat in New York City.



The CONCACAF Futsal preliminary pairings will have three UNCAF nations
(El Salvador, Honduras, Panama) meeting three North Zone teams (Canada, Mexico, USA) in a home-and-away series that must be completed by 30 May 2004.

The three North/Central Preliminary Series winners will advance to the
2004 CONCACAF Futsal Final Round Qualification in July, along with Cuba, three more qualifiers from the Caribbean Football Union and the host,
Costa Rica.

The eight-team CONCACAF Final Round will qualify two nations to the 2004 FIFA Futsal World Championship to be held in Chinese Taipei from 22 November 12 December.
