Last week end Latvian league crowned
Bugroff as the new Latvian champion for season 2003/2004 a round before the end of current league. With two victories respectively over
Atlas Kimmel and
Apka, the
Artur Shketov's team (same coach of Latvian national team) is already sure to became the new champion, before playing last round match against the second team in the table,
Raba. After
FK Viesnica Oma's retirement from the league, all the season saw the duel between
Bugroff and
Raba, which finally went to
Bugroff.
