The Brazilian pivot of Marfil Santa Coloma, "Marcelo" Dos Reis Soares will change his team at the end of the season. Since June, 30th, Marcelo will be a new player of Polaris Wolrd Cartagena. The agreement between Marcelo and Cartagena is for three years and could be renewed for one more. The news was officially given by Marfil Santa Coloma's president Vicente García. In the past season Marcelo seemed to be very close to play for Playas de Castellon, while now he will try to be part of a new dream team with Manoel Tobias and Indio in Cartagena.
